It started with a simple question during a medical emergency: "Do you have their previous reports?"

We realized that while we document every vacation and birthday, we lose the most critical story of all—our health. Prescriptions fade in drawers, lab reports are trapped inside disconnected hospital portals, and family medical histories are scattered across WhatsApp chats.

When an elderly parent fell ill, the anxiety of piecing together years of medical history in a waiting room made one thing perfectly clear: Families need a unified, private sanctuary for their health records.

That is why we built Jeevan Kosha. It isn't just another fitness tracker or a clinical database. It is a collaborative family health platform—a digital "Kosha" (treasury)—designed to preserve a single, continuous health history for every generation of your family.

Jeevan Kosha was built from the ground up to protect your family's most sensitive medical records. We believe privacy is a fundamental human right, not an afterthought.

Bank-Grade Encryption

All data, including medical documents, lab results, and personal information, is encrypted both in transit (using TLS 1.3) and at rest (using AES-256). Your sensitive health records are stored in heavily guarded, SOC2-compliant cloud vaults.

Absolute Ownership & Secrecy

You own your data completely. No one can see your medical records without your explicit permission—not other family members, not your doctors, and not even us. All access across the platform requires explicit, revocable consent.

Your Data, Never Sold

We are in the business of securing your family's health history, not monetizing it. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal health information with third-party advertisers, pharmaceutical companies, or data brokers.

AI Processing, Not Data Mining

When you use Health IQ or generate medical summaries, your health data is processed using Google Cloud's Vertex AI platform. It is never used to train public AI models, and is not retained by the AI provider beyond processing your request.

Data Ownership & Deletion

Jeevan Kosha acts as a custodian for your records, not an owner. You can delete your account at any time, and your data is permanently removed from our active servers. Self-serve data export is on our roadmap for families who want to take their full history elsewhere.

1. Who owns the data I upload to Jeevan Kosha?
You do. Your data belongs exclusively to you. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
2. Can my family members see my medical records?
Only if you allow them to. By default, your health profile is completely private. You can choose to explicitly delegate access to specific family members.
3. How does the AI extraction work?
When you upload a lab report or prescription, Jeevan Kosha automatically extracts the key parameters and organizes them into your health timeline — no manual data entry required. You review and confirm what was extracted before it becomes part of your record. A single result rarely tells the whole story, so we're building toward connecting related markers, medications, and history across reports — our goal is to surface meaningful patterns, not just flag individual numbers.
4. Is the AI providing medical diagnosis?
No. Jeevan Kosha is strictly a record management tool and does not provide medical advice or diagnoses. The AI simply structures the data you upload so you and your doctor can visualize your history easily.
5. How secure is my data?
Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and stored with the same infrastructure standards used by regulated financial and healthcare platforms. No one — not other family members, not us — can see your records without your explicit, revocable permission.
6. Can I share records with a doctor who doesn't use the app?
Absolutely. You can generate a secure, temporary, read-only link to specific records and share it with your doctor. You retain a full audit trail of who viewed the link.
7. Do I need to create a separate account for my children?
No, you can manage your children's profiles directly under your account. Once they come of age, you can seamlessly hand over ownership of their profile to them.
8. What types of medical documents can I upload?
You can upload lab reports, prescriptions, discharge summaries, vaccine charts, and imaging reports in standard formats like PDF, JPG, or PNG.
9. Is this a daily fitness tracker?
No. Jeevan Kosha is specifically designed for clinical records and longitudinal medical history rather than daily step-counting or fitness tracking.
10. Is Jeevan Kosha free to use?
Jeevan Kosha is currently in early access. We are offering our core family management and AI extraction tools completely free during this launch phase.
